ANIMAL
ADOPTION
The Animal Adoption Programme
at the Highland Wildlife Park helps us in our vital
conservation work and in keeping our animals healthy
and happy! Your support helps towards the costs of feeding,
providing naturalistic and stimulating enclosures, and
any veterinary costs for your chosen species.
ANIMAL ADOPTION - A Wild Gift Idea!
Animal Adoption is an unusual
gift and a unique way to contribute to the costs of
keeping and feeding the rare and endangered animals
in the Highland Wildlife Park’s care. It also
helps further the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s
vital conservation, education and research work.
There are over 100 different animal
species to adopt at the Highland Wildlife Park and Edinburgh
Zoo. Starting at a minimum donation of £40 - you
can adopt any animal species, at any level, for a whole
year - a Przewalski’s Horse costs no more than
a dung beetle! Simply choose which animal you would
like to adopt, choose your level of adoption and then
fill in the application form which can be acquired from
the Adoption Department at Edinburgh Zoo or on-line
(see link at the bottom of page).
