Feeding Talks - daily
Throughout the day there are informal keeper-led feeding
talks on some of the many creatures in the walk-around

some fascinating facts about them. Check the boards
around the Park for times. They are currently as follows:
11.30 Snow monkeys
12.10 Bharal (Himalayan blue sheep)
12.25 Markhor goats
1.30 Wildcats and pine martens
2.15 Amur tigers
3.30 Red pandas
2010 International
Year of Biodiversity
The United Nations has declared 2010 to be the International
Year of Biodiversity with a call to action to safeguard
the variety of life on earth.
The plight of the tiger over the last 100 years shows
only too well the pressures species are under. In the
early 1900's there were 8 species of tiger. Now it is
believed that only 4 remain. Come and see the largest
of these, the Amur tiger, at the Park and learn about
the struggle they face in the wild.
